About the Company

Following a number of new commissions, TV production company Darlun is expanding. Since we set up in Caernarfon 3 years ago, we have produced many popular television series such as Gwesty Aduniad, Ysgol Ni Maesincla, Helo Syreri and many more. Over the next two years, several new projects are planned for BBC Wales, BBC Network and S4C, and at such an exciting time for us as a company, we are looking for a Production Co-ordinator to join the team.

Job Description

The Production Co-ordinator will work closely with the Head of Production to manage television projects from pre-production through to filming, post production and presenting the final content to the broadcaster.

The successful candidate will organize and resource productions as required.

Main duties:

• Assisting production teams with production arrangements and administration;

• Accurately record project related costs and report this to the Head of Production and Senior Producer;

• Other duties will include (but are not limited to): creating schedules, managing archives and copyright clearances;

• Ensure all supply requirements are met for the appropriate broadcaster;

• Logging of material, raw content and equipment;

• Responsibility for travel and overnight arrangements;

• Post production paperwork;

• Casual work as a runner on location.

Essential Skills:

• The ability to speak and write in Welsh is an advantage for this post.

• Good communication skills;

• Administration and organizational skills;

• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team;

• Positive attitude

• Desirable Skills:

A driving license would be an advantage for this job.
